Joselyn Williams, Chief of Finance at Exist Tribe

Hello there! My name is Joselyn and I met Robert Sweetman, the founder of Exist Tribe, through a mutual friend of ours. He explained their need to organize finances, raise money, and bring sleep products to market that make a difference. It was refreshing to see a group of people so concerned with the health and well being of others. I accepted the position of fractional CFO for Exist Tribe in February of 2021 and I look forward to helping the company grow to help as many people as possible!

I was born in and raised in Gothenburg, Nebraska. I am a bit of a country girl and enjoy the great outdoors. Country music is my favorite but I enjoy all genres. I also enjoy the city life, where I can go out to eat at my favorite restaurant is one with an open ocean view. I began my career by going to school at University of Nebraska at Kearney where I focused on finance. After that, I stayed there to continue my education by finishing my MBA with a double major in Accounting and Finance. I enjoyed it so much that I came back as an adjunct professor for a period of time.

My experience in the accounting and finance industry extends across the U.S. I have worked for places like Rady Children's Hospital, where I had the chance to make an impact on the lives of children. Making an impact is huge to me and that is why I am so excited to get started with Exist Tribe. Helping people sleep, especially children, is something that really gets me motivated. Having a social impact bottom-line for everything we do is the only way we can all help each other in this world.

My strengths are in Accounting, Budgeting, Forecasting, Strategic Planning, MD&A and Process Improvement, Predictive Modeling & Analysis, Oracle JDE, HFM, Essbase, Host

Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Compliance, Budgeting, Forecasting & Ad hoc Analysis. I LOVE EXCEL! I have supported financial projections for other start-ups and I feel that I will be a huge asset to getting Exist Tribe financed and accounted for correctly. After all, we have to have the books in order to make a difference in people’s lives!

I have been responsible for accounts as large as $80M and have performed flawlessly over the last 17 years. I have supported everything from publicly traded companies to small start-ups. I love what I do and I look forward to an exciting 2021. Exist Tribe is an incredible company, so, watch out for us!
